Justice refers today to responsibility and the need to follow through; 5 of cups speaks to frustration and loss; Strength addresses inner strength and perseverance. The focus of my day was not the time spent with my wonderful boyfriend, rather on the work I am behind on, that I went in late to work on, that (through technological glitches) I lost a substantial chunk of. My daily read, had I interpreted it this morning, said to me 'You have work to finish that you are personally accountable for. Things are going to go wrong today, but when you get frustrated and upset don't freak out about it; relax, take a breath and a step back, then finish what you started.'This marks the 3rd time I've pulled Justice and Strength (though not together before now.) The first time I pulled Strength it was in a spread I did looking for an answer to a question I have poor personal judgment on, and I haven't quite been able to read what it meant. The topic has been weighing on my mind more than just the last few days, and I feel it is important that these two cards keep coming up. In one of my more useful tarot resources, I found some tasty tidbits regarding
Justice
2's indicate a reconciliation, a reunion, and/or an element of surprise; the focus is on wanting to reach your goals, settlements...and trying to understand the workings of destiny in your life or affairs.
and Strength
If you are feeling challenged, it's because you are harboring a deep-seated misunderstanding, mistrust, or resentment toward someone, and you are being given the opportunity to resolve it once and for all.
After some of this exploration, I think my confusing read from earlier in the week (Strength reversed in a positive position and 4 of Wands in a negative position) might have been saying that as long as I am in this state of mistrust that I should not get my hopes up.
