I have been rather distraught the last few days, and finally decided to utilize my distress as an impetus to work with my cards again. It's been approximately a month since I last did a real spread or a daily reading, so I decided to start fresh, intuitively this time without the use of books for answers. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of two of my three cards primary cards, so this will be a slightly incomplete post...which is disappointing because the cards are very visually descriptive in color and symbolism. Poo.
Wheel of Fortune (reversed)
Two of Pentacles
King of Cups
Timing cards:
The Hierophant
Six of Cups
Due to the context of the people reading, I won't be delving into great detail of my interpretation this time. However, here are the conclusions I've drawn: I was in the middle of a cycle of learning which was interrupted, presumably by fear. The sudden jolt has resulted in me juggling more than I can handle between graduate work and this situation. I need to just let it go for now and pick it up again when I can handle the load. In the meantime I should be stoic and resist the ample temptation to involve myself preemptively; I have plenty of support if I only bother to seek it out, and in time this will resolve itself though not by my terms. As for the timing, the Hierophant suggests things will sort out in the near future, though six leave me with a range from weeks to months. My hunch is on weeks. Regardless of time, this spread has brought me a measure of relief.
Gradients of colors and wheels and water. It's always a cycle isn't it?
Cheers.
