IDS Day 16: Two of Pentacles

An old familiar of mine. 2 comes up frequently when my academic/work life is involved. Fox is a friendly reminder that I have it under control and am full capable of handling my load.
One thing I've never really noticed is the abstractness of this card! No scenery, just colors and the hint of waves. I sense illusion; even the juggler's routine is illusory--see how he lacks arms. A warning in this card: beware! Things are not what they appear! It may even refer to a person, a social/monetary/etc. illusionist who sucks you into false comfort with a smile and cute trick while his hands are elsewhere.

The waves look like they radiate out from fox's foot upright, but seem to overcome him reversed. It would be wise to note what surrounds the situation; even if you can juggle certain tasks you may be lacking control in general.

It seems that this card is usually very positive, so today I'm noticing the warning aspects of 2 of Pentacles.
