What influences does this card have on me? Eight of Wands
The 8 wands seem to block the path to the castle in the distance, some more than others. This card (the page) frustrates me. It puts a stop to my understanding...mostly. I also think it's stubborn and distracting! With the impeding wands, not only is my view of the castle obscured, but so too is my ability to reach it. Willful and headstrong little page.
What are the strengths associated with this card? Ace of Wands
Here, a god-hand hold the wand upside down. It looks...confusing. As though the hand is pulling it from the earth. It seems this card is about restraint; the wand is not being put into action, and its passionate energy is diminished. This doesn't suggest necessarily a lack of creativity, etc., just that the strength of the page is his ability to reign it in.
What are the weaknesses associated with this card? Two of Wands
This frog looks like he might be taking a blind leap from the turret into the ocean. He isn't using the wands for support in such a precarious position. It seems the page, like his knight counterpart, has a penchant for recklessness. He doesn't need foundation, just an idea, before he goes running off without thinking. His weakness is his impulsiveness and unwillingness/inability to be still and decide.
What is the overall meaning of the card for you? Queen of Pentacles
Queen sits alone in what appears to be a slowly dying field. The grass is tall but wilting. She seems to reflect on her coin, almost turning it over in her hands. She has no subjects to rule, just her coin and her giant throne, but she doesn't seem bothered by that fact. The page is a card that advises me to take stock of myself--what I do/do not have working in my life. He's both a reminder about what isolates me as a person from others and a conversation with myself about where and what is in need of praise or improvement.
See the way he points to himself, right to his heart, with the raised sword? "Listen up," he says. "We're dealing with what's in here."
